A high school senior in Washington State has pretended to be pregnant for most of her senior year. It's an amazing social experiment, and I think she needs to write a book.

What do you think of this? Would you let your own child do something like this?

It seems like an interesting experiment, but I wonder what the overall point was.
Don't most people know just how hard (socially) it must be to be a pregnant teen? Although, it is interesting one person accused her of being more annoying than she remembered and blaming it on the baby (i.e. hormones). Of course, all that behind-the-back ridicule could make someone emotional, so maybe the person was onto something.
As a personal experience to gain some perspective on someone else's life, I think the experiment was very valuable. The girl should definitely write a book about it.
Apparently she's been contacted for both a book and possibly a movie, as well. I think she was making a particular point about how young Latinas in particular could be taken off track by a teen pregnancy.
