Currently Syndicated Bear

I'm back. Chicago is SUCH a great city! I hope you all had wonderful holiday weekends.

Today, I'm linking you to my first syndicated article. I love the fact that Google Ads put fire-related links all along the right-hand side. I've also heard that Amazon is already shipping Minder, so if you ordered a copy from them, it should arrive soon. They've also lowered the Kindle price. I hope you'll leave a review on Amazon, Barnes & Noble, GoodReads, or Shelfari if you like it! Please drop me an email or leave a comment if you post a review--I'd love to get your feedback.

The Brenda Novak auction ended at midnight. My critique of a query letter and the first ten pages fetched $70 for diabetes research! Thank you to everyone who bid, and congrats to the winner. I'll contact you as soon as the auction folks send my your info. Feel free to contact me directly. So, for the next year, whenever I offer that critique as a prize in a contest, I guess I can say it's "a $70 value."

Google Ads also put up dating site links. Actually, I get some amusing results every time I refresh the screen.

Nice article! Very dry and witty.

The google ads are a bonus!

Oddly, absolutely nothing comes up in my browswer window when I click the link. Although I'm perfectly willing to accept that it's my shoddy internet connection.

I used to travel weekly to Chicago for work. I actually grew to love it. Except in January when it's always something like minus thirty-five and your eyeballs freeze if you don't blink rapidly.

Hi Brenda,

There's another link through: http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Kate_Kaynak

I like the question mark in front of my "expert" status in the URL.

Thanks fairyhedgehog! BTW, I'll have those pictures up soon--there was a problem with my website FTP last week, and we're still fixing the last of it.

fire starting grandchildren! That's hysterical! Imagine how HARD that would be as a parent? Would you have to supervise them even while asleep?

Hi Vicki!
Stephen King first raised the the pyrokinetic kid-thing in FIRESTARTER. The sparks have similar issues in MINDER. It's actually a cool thing to contemplate as a writer.
